The directory
Local Listings is a directory and connection service. We don't employ, endorse or guarantee any listed business, and we're not a party to any agreement between you and a business. Always verify licences, insurance and credentials before engaging a provider — for licensed trades, check the relevant state register.
Business listings
By submitting a listing you confirm you're authorised to represent the business, the details are accurate, and you'll keep them current. We may edit, decline or remove listings that are inaccurate, misleading, duplicated or no longer operating. Listings are free; we may introduce optional paid features in future, which will always be clearly optional.
Quote requests
Quote requests are forwarded to relevant businesses at our discretion. We don't guarantee responses, pricing or availability, and you deal directly with businesses at your own discretion.
Guest posts and content
Guest contributors grant us a non-exclusive licence to publish their submitted content and confirm it is original and doesn't infringe others' rights. We edit for clarity and may decline submissions that don't meet our guidelines.
Acceptable use
Don't scrape the site at scale, submit false information, impersonate a business, or use forms to spam. We may block users who abuse the service.
Liability
The site is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by Australian Consumer Law, our liability is limited to re-supplying the service. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights.
